Product Description
Double Studded Adapter Flange, short for DSA Flange / DSAF, is a heavy-duty integrally forged wellhead fitting strictly manufactured per API 6A international standard. Unlike ordinary single-sided flanges or weld neck flanges, this component features flanged ends on both sides, with complete stud bolt holes machined on each face, enabling full bolted connection without welding.
It serves as a crossover transition piece for mismatched wellhead equipment: it can convert different pressure classes, bore diameters and ring joint sealing grooves (BX, RX, RTJ) between tubing spools, christmas trees, wellhead manifolds and surface testing assemblies. The one-piece forging structure eliminates internal welding seams, providing superior tensile strength and stable sealing performance under ultra-high pressure, thermal cycling and vibration working conditions.
We supply multiple material grades including 4130 alloy steel, stainless steel, with optional Inconel 625 surfacing to meet NACE MR0175 sour gas anti-corrosion requirements for H₂S-containing oil & gas wells. Every DSA flange undergoes CNC precision machining, ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle inspection (MT) and hydrostatic pressure test before delivery to eliminate forging defects such as cracks and sand holes. Custom bore sizes, ring groove types and anti-corrosion coatings are available for onshore, offshore and special well control projects.
