The surface is reinforced with HVOF supersonic flame spray coating (typically WC-Co, Cr₂O₃, or NiCrBSi alloy coating), forming a dense, low-porosity, high-bond-strength protective layer that is 2-3 times stronger than conventional thermal spraying.
